On Monday August 27th, 2012 there will be an unofficial club meeting.
The meeting will be held in Bakeless Center Room 107 from 8:00 p.m.
- 10:00 p.m. Summer rules are in effect, which means that nothing
counts.

2012 Activites Fair

On Sunday August 26th, 2012 the Activities Fair will take place on the Schuylkill Hall Lawn from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Rain Location Kehr Union Ballroom). We need members to
help assist in promoting the organization. Several members and officers will be arriving early to set up around 2:00 p.m. Any anime or manga examples would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome back or to Bloomsburg University! BUMAC is about to restart for
the semester. Here are a few important dates on our upcoming schedule:
Sunday
August 26th, 2012 - Activities Fair. We need members
to help assist in promoting the organization. It takes place on the Schuylkill Hall Lawn from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Rain Location Kehr
Union Ballroom). Several members and officers will be arriving early to set up around
2:00 p.m. Any anime or manga examples would be greatly
appreciated.
Monday August 27th, 2012 - Unofficial club meeting.
The meeting will be held in Bakeless Center Room 107 from 8:00 p.m. -
10:00 p.m. Summer rules will in effect, which means that nothing

Thursday August 30th, 2012 - Information meeting. The
meeting will be held in Bakeless Center Room 107 from 8:00 p.m. -
10:00 p.m. This is a good time for new
and old members to introduce themselves and for everyone to get a
feel for the club. Volunteers will be asked for Freshman
Representative positions. An pre-chosen anime will be viewed, time
permitting. Everyone is Welcome!
Monday September 3rd, 2012 - Labor Day. No meeting!
Thursday
September 6th, 2012 - First official club meeting of the new
semester. The meeting will be in Bakeless Center Room 107 from 8:00
p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

FINAL SUMMER MEETING - Tenth Summer Meeting: Great Teacher Onizuka Live-Action

At our tenth and final summer meeting for 2012 we watched Great Teacher Onizuka Live-Action.
Overview: Former juvenile delinquent Onizuka finds himself thrust into a role of high school teacher facing students who behave just as he used to and an administration that doesn't trust him. Using the brash and unorthodox methods he picked up in his youth Onizuka manages to reach through to his kids and help them with their problems.
Thanks to all those who attended and made another year of summer meetings a success. Hope you all had a good time and see you in the fall! - The officers of BUMAC

Ninth Summer Meeting: Alien Defender Geo-Armor Kishin Corps

At our ninth summer meeting we watched Alien Defender Geo-Armor Kishin Corps.
Overview: October 1941, as the second World War threatens to destroy the
civilized world, an unforeseen complication suddenly occurs. An alien
invasion! Despite the sudden appearance of these extraterrestrial
aggressors, the Axis and Allies continue their destructive conflict.
Only the Kishin Corps and their giant Geo-Armor Robots (a.k.a.: Kishin),
developed from a captured alien robot soldier, stand between the Earth
and total annihilation!
