Welcome to the Bloomsburg University Manga and Anime Club (BUMAC) webpage. We hold free public showings of anime every Monday and Thursday at 8:00 p.m. in Bakeless Center Room 105. Please enjoy your stay and we hope to see you at the next meeting!

Hello, this is a reminder that we have a meeting on Monday, November 21st. We have no meeting on Thursday, November 24th due to Thanksgiving.

Well the film fest is now over and and it was a reasonable success, thanks to all those who participated. We will be having the post film fest meeting on Monday at 7:10 to discuss the fest and plan next semesters.
Also, the clubs Halloween party will be on Monday, make sure to come dressed up as something! LOL. ;)

This is a reminder for the people running the Action/Adventure/Mech, Romantic/Comedy, and Movie tables at the Film Fest there is a meeting to finalize the tables. It will be Monday at 7:10PM in Bakeless 107. Anyone wishing to have input should attend.

Hello, the anime club will be having our annual film fest on Sunday October 23rd from 12:00NOON untill done (Around 7:00PM-8:00PM) in Centennial Hall rooms 218, 244, and 245. We will feature various Japanese Anime’s, Live Action Shows, and Movies. Some of the tables that will be featured at this event will be:
Romance & Comedy
Action, Adventure, and Mechanized (Giant Robots)
Live Action (TV shows) & Hardcore (Extreme Themes, Violence, etc)
Fansub (Material right out of Japan)
Movie (Full Length Animated and Live Action Movies)
Manga (Japanese Comics)
This event is open to the public and free of charge. Snacks will be provided so please to stop by and see what were about.
To members we need this information ASAP:
1. Anime/Live Action shows you would be willing to show.
2. Manga donations for the Manga table.
3. Merchandise donations.
4. Volunteers to be anime characters.

Hi everyone, well I got a rude surprise today when I went to check on the dates for the film fest. It turns out that when we scheduled the rooms last semester, we didn't know that the reading day would be scheduled for Friday, October 14. Our film fest is currently scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15. As of today we can switch the fest to Sunday October 23rd without any scheduling problems. I need opinions and suggestions from everyone as to when they would be available.

We begin regular meetings on Monday the 12th, make note of the room change as we are NO LONGER in Room 305 Bakeless Center, we are now in Room 107 Bakeless Center. Also if any members could bring a Digital Camera we’d like to take some pictures of the meeting for the website.

Hello to all members and prospective members of the club.
We will be having our first meeting of the fall 2005 semester on Thursday September 8th 2005 in the Kher Union, Room 340 A&B from 8-10PM. For those of you who do not know room 340 is across from the info desk.
This meeting is a good time for new and old members to introduce themselves, get a feel for the club, discuss plans for the semester, and have officer elections for Freshman Representative and the Main Officer positions.
Regular meetings will then restart Monday September 12th. We have meetings every Monday and Thursday from 8:00-10:00PM in Bakeless Center Room 107. Hope to see you all on Thursday!
