Thanks to all who attended our second spring Film Fest! It was a fun time of anime, movies, and gaming!

BUMAC's Spring Film Festival will be held on Sunday, March 22nd from about 11AM until about 8PM in Centennial Hall Rooms 218, 243, 244, and 245. Programming will begin about 12noon. As most of you know, Film Fest includes screenings of anime and movies throughout the day, as well as a modest manga collection and games to play. Snacks will be available. The event is free and open to the public.

The B.U. Manga & Anime Club will be screening "Barefoot Gen" as part of its continuing Epic Anime Film Series. The screening will take place in 218 Centennial on Friday, February 20th at 3 PM. Barefoot Gen portrays the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima as seen through the eyes of a young Japanese boy. The viewing is free and open to the public.

Starting on the next Monday meeting (Feb. 9th), club will be sponsoring a secret valentine program. A secret envelope will be provided to send anonymous V.Day wishes to others in club. These will be distributed on Thursday (Feb. 12th) and next Monday (Feb. 16th) as the recipient is present. Happy Valentine's Day in advance!
